Connect your Firebase project

YouForge Wallet stores your data securely in your own Firebase project with real-time sync. One-time setup:

1. Create a project at console.firebase.google.com
2. Enable Authentication → Email/Password and Google sign-in
3. Create a Cloud Firestore database (production mode)
4. Add a Web app and copy its config object
5. Paste the config into the FIREBASE_CONFIG block near the top of this file's script, then reload

Recommended Firestore rule: allow read, write: if request.auth.uid == resource.data.uid (and request.resource.data.uid on create) so each user only accesses their own data. For the floating contact menu's social_links collection: allow read: if true; allow write: if request.auth.token.email in [your admin emails].
